Who is responsible
Bind is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Registered office: [registered address]. Company registration number: [registration number]. For any question about this notice or about your data, write to platforms@bindtech.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the discovery call form, we record the information you enter: your full name, company, work email address, role, which platform you are evaluating, your current setup, monthly volume band, deployment preference, preferred operating model and anything you write in the free-text field. All of it is business contact information about you in your professional capacity.
If you email us directly, we hold the contents of that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
With each form submission we also record the submitting IP address, browser user-agent string and referring page. We use these only to prevent abuse of the form and to trace spam — not to profile you.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and request metadata in order to serve pages to you and to keep security logs.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK/EU GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry, preparing and holding a discovery call or demo, and following up on it | Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Recording the enquiry in our CRM so the right people see it and it is not lost | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Protecting the form and the site from automated abuse and spam | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Measuring how the site is used so we can improve it (analytics) | Your consent, where consent is required for the cookies involved (Art. 6(1)(a)) — see our cookie notice |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that has legal effects on you.
Who processes it on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers. Each acts as a processor under contract, or as an independent controller where noted.
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts and serves this website |
| Zoho Corporation | Our CRM. Form submissions are created as leads in our Zoho CRM account, hosted in Zoho’s European data centre |
| Our email provider | Delivers the notification email containing your enquiry to our sales inbox |
| Cloudflare | Provides Turnstile, the check that confirms the form was submitted by a person rather than a script |
| Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) | Website analytics and tag management, where you have accepted analytics cookies |
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are made under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, together with the supplementary measures required by those clauses. We can supply details of the mechanism relied on for a specific provider on request.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not progress: kept in our CRM for [retention period, e.g. 24 months] from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Enquiries that become customer relationships: kept for the duration of the relationship and for as long afterwards as we are required to retain contractual and accounting records.
- Anti-abuse records (IP address, user agent) attached to a submission: kept with the enquiry record.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transmit it to another provider. You can also object to processing we carry out on the basis of our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for analytics at any time without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
Write to platforms@bindtech.com to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Croatia that is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), azop.hr.
